The following is from the guidelines for the online deryni story that were compiled by Celia. I have taken just the basics for anyone who is interested in how the writing of the story has been arranged.

Suggestions for Rules.

- Literary comments delivered via email, if requested by the author.
- No intentional anachronisms, though we'll be forgiving of accidents, given that most of us aren't historians!
- random chapters outside main story thread permitted (though, this could get terribly complex!)
- Keep it PG. If physical intimacy becomes a part of the story, please describe it in no more detail than Katherine would. ;)
- Add whatever you think works in the story, keeping in mind the suggestions for characters and themes.

Conventions that might be useful.

- Double colons are used ::___:: to enclose a character's thoughts.
- Telepathic conversations are bracketed with double asterisks **___**
- Spoken dialogue uses quotes "____"
